School security

Alexandra Primary School grounds are a secure and safe environment for our children. The playground gates are kept locked during school hours, are monitored at drop off and collection times.  All visitors must pass through the main school door, where there is a keypad entry system. All visitors must report to reception, sign in and wear a visitor pass. Children must also be signed in and out if they arrive or leave outside registration time.

We have an external CCTV system for the purposes of public safety, the management and security of the site, monitoring health and safety and safeguarding of the pupils, parents, visitors and employees on site. By using CCTV, the school can monitor occurrences on site and also the security of the buildings and grounds.

For the safety of our children, parents are not allowed to drive through the main school gates at the start and end of the school day. The car park is for staff and visitor use only.
