Alexandra Primary School
We have continued to develop an intra-year group sports program with Y3-6 each holding an intra-year group competitive sports competition over the course of the summer term. This has ensured that all pupils have the opportunity to partake in competitive sports not just those selected to represent the school. Year groups have selected a variety of sports and then set up and run their own competitions often using pupils to lead and run events. This has given pupils the opportunity to use the skills they have developed over the course of the term in a competitive environment as well as develop important leadership and teamwork skills.
